Happy Independence Day! and Boo Russia!

Have you ever been taken over by Russia? Whass that? Ya have?? Then you, too, can celebrate how great Julia and her fellow Finns feel today, Finnish Independence Day. We threw off those Russian shackles in an episode of history I know exactly this much about: it occurred on December 6. So, Hyvaa Itsenaisuuspaivaa, guys! Some fun finnish phrases (please keep in mind my spoken Finnish is at a toddler's level):

Peppupaa: Butthead
Sina olet peppupaa: you are a butthead
Hiirvi mene nukkumaan: the moose goes to sleep
Hyvaa yota, Hiirvi! : Good night, Moose!
Tama on minun kasi, hiirvi, ylos, ylos!: That is my hand, moose, get up, get up!
Naen etta sina olet peppupaa hirvi: I see that you are a butthead moose.
Syomaan jalkiruokaa?: shall we eat dessert?
Tama jaateloa on herkkulinen: this ice cream is delicious
siina on hyljen peppu: there is seal bottom in it.
Hylke, haluatko jatskia?: Seal, would you like some ice cream?
Se tuoksee sinun pepusta: it smells like your bottom

Tulee julian itsenaisuuspaivajuhlaan!! Julia on nyt yskinainen juhlassa. Han juo, ja laikki weapons kanssa.: Come to Julia's Independence Day Party! Julia is alone there now. she is drinking, and playing with weapons.
